We are launching a new trumpet mouthpieces named "Kai(改)" in a few months.
It will be total three models: TP-1C改, 3C改, and 5C改.

The Japanese meanings of "Kai" are like "modify, reform, new, etc", and these new models are powered by our new development 'Accelerator' :

First of all, it is not a double cup! The special ring structure pointed in red is the Accelerator, and "Kai" shows that the mouthpiece has it. (For example, 1C改 is "TP-1C with the Accelerator".) Then, what does the Accelerator do? - This will literally accelerate your high register.

In fact, Tsubasa, one of the working staffs at Best Brass, have been using Best Brass TP-3C and can play up to highG. However, he can go up to double high Bb with the new TP-3C Kai mouthpiece. TP-3C Kai has a exactly same rim and cup shape except only the Accelerator, so the sound change is minimal. Now, Tsubasa is so excited about it and only uses his new TP-3C Kai.

Although I have to note that there were people who could not play it at all, approximately 75% was able to accelerate their high register with these new mouthpieces. This result actually is a quite surprising even to us. In case that you are one of the 25% unfortunately, the regular line-up will be staying, so please do not worry about it. Regardless you are currently using our mouthpieces or not, I hope that you try out this new invention. Lastly, the mouthpiece will be engraved with '改' like shown below, which I think is so cool.
