 The name “Wah-Wah” comes from the fact that the mute produces a tone like “Wah” by hand s opening and closing the tipped bell, and the effective tone is often played in a situation where the song needs comical sounds. However, we can hardly discuss Jazz without the style of stem-less Wah-Wah, as we say “Harmon style” and the sound is also known as “Cool Jazz Sound” which was widely spreaded by Miles Davis in 1950s, and still captures our heart today.

 The first feature of BEST BRASS Wah-Wah & Cool Jazz is its outstanding pitch. Generally, the Harmon style tends to badly raise the pitch, but not with BEST BRASS. Besides, natural blow and the beautiful sound are loved by most excellent players of all around the world.

 Wah-Wah & Cool Jazz for Trombone and Bass Trombone substantially transforms a sound to the attractive “Cool Jazz sound” compared to a traditional Wah-Wah mute for Trombon. These new models will allow Trombones to play the Cool Jazz sound. Please enjoy it.
